Title: Cheese Plates - Pairing With Persimmon?

I tried Brie and it was delicious... Anyone ever pair persimmons with cheese.

haha, had to use Google translate to find out what persimmons are. And guess what, last week I discovered a piece of fruit I never had seen before and it turned out to be a persimmon (named "kaki" here in the Netherlands). Never thought about paring that with cheese...

Goes with almost any soft, non-blue cheese.

I know the smoked cheese and prosciutto would be delicious with persimmons! Once, I tried the recipe that I found online for Persimmon Prosciutto Cheese Bites. They’re made with sweet fruit, smoked cheddar cheese, and salty cured Italian ham. So good!
