I'm not sure how many of you have had the opportunity to check out Mastering Artisan Cheesemaking: The Ultimate Guide for Home-Scale and Market Producers by acclaimed cheesemaker Gianaclis Caldwell but it is a fabulous resource!! With beautiful pictures, recipes with pH guides and and profiles of artisan cheesemakers. My cheesemaking profile and Mozzarella (http://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/topic,3500.msg27427.html#msg27427) recipe are featured in the Pasta Filata cheese section O0
I'm giving away a copy of this book on my Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Providence-Hill-Farm/259725353141?ref=hl). Facebook mandates that all giveaways have to be run through an approved app so I apologize in advance for any inconvenience but I thought some of you might like to enter :)

Wonderful book that I am sure some cheesemaker will love to add to their library. It is a "must have" as far as I am concerned.
-
I agree, it really is a wonderful book! So far I only have 2 entries so anyone who enters will have a really good chance of winning this book. The giveaway ends 2/22/13. I'm happy to answer any questions about the book or the giveaway :)

I just entered to win this lovely book. Not sure if there are restrictions on entering from outside the US but if I win, I'll be more than happy to pay the postage to get it here. ;D

If you win we will work out something for postage :) Good Luck!!

I've just looked at your website and blog.
I so love and agree with the Farm Girls Christmas, and your Santa Baby song. I hope you get all those goodies during the year!
You have an enviable lifestyle. I can imagine you living to a great age, surrounded by your beautiful animals, eating the freshest food on the planet, with superb skin and the best of health.
You have inspired me to push on with my dream to become self sufficient and live off the land as much as is practical.
Cheers
Sharon

Thanks for the link and the opportunity to win the book - it looks great.
It looks like you do a lot of the same type of things I do. Isn't it a wonderful life?
-
Yes Karen, we are among the fortunate ones. It is a wonderful life filled with beauty and creativity. Enjoy the journey Sharon!

I went to the link. You are ambitious! Looks like great fun! I am admittedly a bit challenged, but couldn't figure out how to register for the book. Although when I clicked the link about the book, my computer wouldn't connect. I couldn't get that link to work. I'll try again later. Thanks for the opportunity!

The giveaway app is down. I hope they fix it soon! I thought it had good reviews. Anyway, the giveaway is supposed to run through 2/22/13 if the app doesn't come back up by then, I'll run the giveaway again.
I will be happy to ship internationally for anyone willing to help pay postage :D

Someone said Giancalis's newest book is the best book that has ever been written. I have to agree.

Okay Christy, I bought this last night so you can take me off of the list. ;D
