@Ryan, yep had fun with google images when searching for Cheese Press and Kaaspers (Dutch for Cheese Press) and thought others might also be interested.

I also think the traditional Dutch molds (Kaasvorm or Kaasvormen or Kaasvaten) are interesting to get traditional mold shapes:

Did anyone get a look at those antique cheese presses. (John where is that swoon smilie??) They were beautiful.  All that work just for a cheese press.  I wonder if Carter could whip up something like that?

If anyone is interested in having such an old Dutch wooden cheese mould let me know.
Most commonly found are the larger Gouda moulds, but also loaf cheese and Edam moulds are avaialbe.
Of course they are used, but many are in in good condition as they have been pampered as antiques.
Can be used for cheese making, for display in your kitchen or living.

We once sold one that was going to be used as kitten bed!! :)
