very nice Steff-can't wait to get up there and see it and get some of your delicious goat milk. The room looks great, what is the wall covering?

smilingcalico

What kind of cheese will you be making? What's the other half of the space look like?

Oude Kaas

Looks great, congratulations.

Walls look like FRP, alias dairy board to me. Am I right?

OudeKaas

wow, looks very hygenic! Where in the Catskills are you?

steffb503

Thanks everyone. I am having fun!
Walls are just OSB painted with high gloss oil based paint.
The other side is a fridge, stainless steel counter with a few wine coolers under it.
I was pressing a wheel with my old not so pretty press so I did not show you. Mike is building my new press today so I will post a pic of the other side when ready.

I am in Fallsburg, NY

I will mostly be making raw goat cheese.

What are you using the pasteurizer for ...fresh cheese ?

Patty

steffb503

Yes In order to sell fresh cheese it must be pasteurized. I also use it to make all my cheeses but I could have done with something else if I did not want to make fresh cheese.
