Title: Greetings from Port Washington, WI
Post by: supun on January 24, 2009, 10:09:32 PM
Hi all, I'm a newbie cheese maker from Port Washington, Wisconsin. My first cheese making attempt resulted in a milk slurry, hence why I'm here now. :)

Plus I'm pretty sure Wisconsin state law requires that all resident need to know how to make cheese. :)

;D ;D ;D, thanks for the afternoon chuckle Wayne!

supun welcome to the forum!

I have had successes and like all, failures in my cheese making episodes :(. That's the way we all learn.

If you want, feel free to give us the gory details and I'm sure a few of us here will to help identify the root cause 8). You could post in this your welcome thread or start a new one in the Board of which ever type of cheese you were trying to make (http://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php?action=collapse;c=8;sa=collapse;#8).

Welcome to the forum Supun,
Don't think of it as a cheese failure but a yogurt sucess ;)

Welcome come on in the water's fine. Just to let you know this is a "beeman" free zone. We registered it with the Geneva Convention and all.

P.S. Supun, this last statement was not meant really for you but to make my other compadres smile. Welcome we're here to help. As CH said let us know the exact details of what went wrong and we might be able to help.

P.P.S Wayne I thought you were going to change your signature?

Welcome Supun!  I'm new too, we've made 2 hard cheeses and mozzarella, ricotta and mascarpone.    Hope we can all learn from each other!

Good morning Supun and welcome to the forum.  Milk slurry,  yes I think we have all seen that site as some stage or other.  Just part of the joys of making cheese.

Milk Slurry? Cheese Failure?
In my house, that is nothing more than an uncompleted chowder. :-)
Welcome to the forum.
I think you'll like it here.
