Hope all are well.  I dried my goats off early this year to attend my brother's wedding out of state.

Hi Kathrin,
I sure hope that doesn't mean we won't be seeing you this fall/winter.  When do your goats kid again?  Stop by for a visit and to say hi even if you aren't making anything.

Thanks, John.  :)  I should post photos I suppose......I do have some cheeses I made and I have goat photos of course!  I won't have more milk until spring....April is my goal.

I'll attach a photo of a Humboldt Fog style I made recently.  and another cheese or two and some farm photos of the growing season

Enjoy....ask questions about any confusing photos......

Thank you for posting the wonderful pictures! The creamline in the jar is amazing!! Looks like more than halfway down! What kind of milk was that?
And the cheese with the pinkish rind... what do you call that? Love the shape of it!

yeah thanks Kathrin, I can at least live vicariously through you for the time being.  How did you like your caciotta?  How did you form the humboldt fog above, was it just the result of flipping in a riccota type mold?  I am kinda liking the simplicity of many italian cheese making styles.

Hi Kathrin.  I saw your post title and was worried you were selling your equipment and getting out of cheese making.  Thanks for posting the pics.
