With all the web wizards now making cheese, I would like to give it a try. Being a web wizard that is. So here is my contribution. You can have a press calibrated in kilograms, a mold measured in inches, and a recipe with pressure in Kpa. What you end up with is what you hang on your press. Or you can say, what if I hang a 5 lb barbell weight on the lever arm ,what am I pressing with. In any case it works on Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Since this is my first attempt at HTML and Javascript, the reporting of any bugs or errors or suggestions would be appreciated.

error in tare weight metric to English conversion fixed 2/9/13
error in clear button logic fixed 2/11/13

Here is a little trick to customize the calculator to your own press.

1 download the calculator to your computer. ( it is a .htm file )
2 right click the .htm file and open with notepad ( or some other text editor )
3 follow the instructions to change the .htm file to change the MA or Tare to that of your press.
4 save the new .htm file.
5 click on the new file and you have a calculator personalized for your own press.
