What to use to raise cheese while ripening?

I've got the cheese mats, and ripen the cheese on these on top of little circular plastic cutters (for cutting out biscuits!)
These are a) a bit high (1cm+) and b) don't fit the base of my plastic tubs (clip-lock)
Any suggestions on what I could use to raise the mats about half a cm and that I can cut to fit the tubs?
Assume it needs to be food grade?
thanks!

What about buying a bottle of washing-up liquid in the old-style white cylindrical bottle and after using the liquid wash out and cut a hoop to the height you want?

Any use?

Here's a photo of the mats I use to keep them up off of the shelves.  The bottom black mat is a flooring mat square you can buy at any restaurant supply store.  I put the bamboo mat on top of that and the plastic mesh over that.
