Well I haven't been here much the last week or so, as I have been trying to finish off a christening gown for a lady.  Finally got it finished and delivered yesterday, much to my relief.
For those that are interested, this is 100% swiss cotton and laces, so this is truely going to be a family heirloom.  There is close to 250 hours of work that has gone into this, but it was a joy to work on.

Wow.. not to let down my cool male exterior but that is really a work of art!  I bet it feels good to be finished too!  Congratulations.

It feels wonderful, I was petrified that my youngest would get to it and chop it up or something.  As it was he got blueberry fingers all over one of the booties.  Thanks heavens for boiling water!!

Oh !!!, It is hard to believe that real human hands were able to craft such a wonderful piece of art.
You are really talented, well, I think yours is something beyond talent.
Congrats !

Tea,

I am a man of 20 years in the military.  A hardened veteren.  I've served through many conficts/wars... I fart, burp... and suggest that folks take care of themselves sexually by themselves constantly.

But I've never seen a beautiful and wonderful dress as this.

That my'lady is art.... pure and simple.

You can consider this old grissled veterans heart melted.  What a wonderful accomplishment.

Wow, that's beautiful! I hope the family it is for enjoys it...I made my own wedding dress, and it was nothing compared to what you have made. Keep up the good work!

Worlock and Ariel, thankyou very much for your kind words.
