Cave Maintenance Day!

It was time.... Perhaps past time... The cheeses were getting a bad case of the black and blues, and there were some interesting things growing near the bottom of the cave...
I took them all out, weighed and dry brushed them. Some got an extra cleaning with vinegar and salt rubdowns.
Inside of the cave was thoroughly cleaned, mats and little shelf separations too. I went ahead and used a little diluted bleach to try and help, then aired it out whilst the cheese cleaning was going on.
I rearranged the storage a little too, so it looks like I can fit another cheese in!! Good thing since I may get more milk tomorrow...
I was excited by the final weight tally.... 37# of goodness!

They still need rotating, but they are also pretty firm already - One is from May, the others July... I think I'll go give them a little spin now!
