I recently bought an Inkbird ITC -308 thermal control unit for about $35 to use when brewing beer. The Inkbird is a simple device that allows you to control a refrigerator (for example) and set the temperature to about 50 F so that when the temperature drops below that set point it will switch the fridge off and when the temperature rises above a set point (say 53 or 54) it will switch it back on again. It works beautifully... and is simple to use. It doesn't control humidity but for $35 it is a relatively inexpensive tool that can control a dorm type refrigerator (maximum differential temperature is 15 degrees. (For the record: I have no stake or financial interest in the company )
