Hi all.  I'm Susan.  Just started making cheese.  Took an adult education course a couple of months ago on cheese making and decided to give it a try at home.  So far so good.  Who doesn't like home made fresh chevre.  Also recently made bel paese and dill havarti.  Waiting on those to ripen before cutting into them.

Was really happy to find this forum.  Have spent quite a bit of time reading up on various topics.  Have learned a lot.

Want to say thank you to John for getting me set up here.  Seems to be an issue with getting authorization codes.  But once I was able to contact him, he took time out of his holiday to get going.

Hi Susan!  (There are a lot of Susans on this forum!)  I didn't know there were adult education curricula out there that included cheese making.  I've been wondering if I should take some cheese making classes...thus far I have been stumbling along fairly successfully with books and this forum, but wonder if learning would be quicker with a class.  At any rate, welcome!  I'm sure you will find this forum helpful.  --Susan38
