Welcome hplace - Great place here you'll love the people!
wow $1200 for a stirrer?

hplace

I know!! It's a ton. But that's how much it costs. If you know of a cheaper one, I would love to have more than one.

Welcome hplace to the forum, looking forward to your advice!

Can't say I know of a cheaper one but I am sure for that price I could build a few.

Yeah, for example, you could weld SS pieces together, and mount them to an ice cream maker motor, and then control the speed through a Harbor Freight router controller. It's not very elegant, but then again, it would cost maybe $200 and a few hours of welding.

Anyway I think it's very nicely made and nice to get pictures, gives me some ideas, except I have no welding equipment, especially for stainless.

Funny I was thinking an icecream paddle with the paddles trimmed a bit and a varible speed drill.  ;D
