I typically buy my CaCl from Leeners.  Leener's stated CaCl concentration is 30%.

In looking to purchase this from Dairy Connection, I could not determine the concentration from their web site.
So I inquired, and I got the following response:

"Our Calcium chloride is 33%

No, not practically. Usually, in the home setting, you're adding blindly anyway because it's not practical to test the milk for existing Ca++ balance. Plus, there are measurement errors because 1/4 tsp vs 1/4 tsp+1 ml have a meniscus that looks about the same.

Great people too! They gave me a tour of the shop when I visited them in October. We talked for at least an hour. They actually told me I could buy certain moulds cheaper from Glenagarry then them! I still bought them at DC just because they were so honest and nice and I was holding them in my greedy little hands at the time.  ;D

No please don't take my moulds away ... please! :'(

Completely agree.  Great people.  There was a reason i was moving many of my purchases to them.
