Is this material safe to use for a cheese press?

Well I gave her a spin over the weekend and everything went a ok!

One of the tricks is to put it back into the press without any cheesecloth and press for a couple of hours to get rid of most of the wrinkles. However, your slots make that a little more complicated. Small weep holes would be much better.
