I'm planning on making some cultured butter for the first time ever this weekend. Assuming it all goes well, I'm trying to think of a few flavoured butters to make in the future. Any suggestions of interesting/unusual butters?
So far, I might do a smoked salt butter, and maybe try a hop-infused butter. Any other ideas?
Can't go wrong with Mediterranean herbs - light on oregano - garlic chives are nicer (I think) than garlic.
I think cultured butter holds up better to flavoring than sweet cream.
Hops sounds interesting.
