I like it!
It's on a much larger scale than anything I'd aspire to but, as an occasional small-scale maker of sawdust, I certainly appreciate it. This is probably the first time that anyone has ever received a cheese for a sawmill but I couldn't work out how to award a log.
(By the way, what's the white stuff in the top photograph?)

Hi, That white stuff, well, our upper ranch in at 6800ft in the Sierra range, we get some snow.

Home Depot, there's one in Carson City, Nevada about 40miles from here. We live in the forest, we heat with wood, always thought how neat it would be to turn a tree into lumber rather than firewood.

These pictures weren't taken at this time, snow is hard to find now, maybe up hiding in a thicket of trees some where or up highter.

And thanks for the cheese!

Very cool. Are you working from a set of plans, or using a TLAR approach, or ? (That Looks About Right)

T L A R approach is what I'm doing. I've seen mills of all kinds on the internet. But This to me seems like what a Band mill should be.
