Title: Chiller as cave
Post by: AnnDee on November 13, 2016, 06:01:56 AM
I am planning to get another chiller as my cave. I saw some reasonable display chiller that will go upto 10C, will that be suffiecient you think? Also, should I get a direct cooling chiller or no frost system?
Any advise is appreciated.

I suggest a cave with a wider range of temperature. My cave (wine cooler) has a range of 40-70F (4.5 - 21c)

Hi cbenner,
I used 2 wine chillers as my cave, but because I need a bigger one, I bought 1 big chiller and let go of 1 wine chiller. I am pretty happy with this new one, it ranges from 2C to 18c and it holds RH of 75-85% quite nicely with just 1 small humidifier inside.
