Hi everyone!
My name is Katie, and I live in Vermont. I like to think of Vermont as the cheese capital of America! I believe that we have the most cheese producers per-capita. I've been making cheese for about 6 months now. I don't have a cheese press yet so I've been focusing on fresh cheeses, soft cheeses, and aged soft cheeses. I have come here many times for answers to my questions and I hope to get some great advice through this forum.
Thank you!
Welcome to the forum, Katie!

Welcome to the forum Katie! I think Wisconsin may have a little bit of an argument about your cheese production. LOL Now, maple syrup, that's another story!!

I have no doubt that Wisconsin has more cheese makers overall! We only get that title because of the small handful for people who actually live here, :)
Welcome to the forum. :)
