Title: Strange discoloration

These spots have been showing up on several of my cheeses. Any ideas what it is? It doesn't clean off. I am talking about the brown splotch, not the visible mold which I did clean off.

I get then too sometimes , no idea what they might be .

I see something like that after cleaning off mold - I've always thought that it was some discoloration caused by the mold. But I dont' really know ... and haven't worried about it ... and haven't died ye

Ok so it sounds like a pretty common occurance without any known consequences. Thanks team! My cheeses are all aging beautifully BTW. Pics soon.
