Title: Damp ends after 4 days?
Post by: Phiber_optikx2 on March 28, 2017, 05:56:47 PM
Quick question. I have a Caerphilly that has been on the drying rack for four days now. The sides have dried well but each time I flip it the ends are still fairly damp. How long would you leave it on the rack before moving it to the cave?

I would move it to the cave, but keep it on a rack or plastic mesh or other means of allowing it to continue to dry.

If the ends are wet  to the touch try a fan or place it on a cloth or paper towels  , flip often . if the cloth ends up totally wet then it needed it badly.
