I recently connected with an Italian ex-pat now living about three hours away that has a small water buffalo herd. He was going to make raw milk mozzarella to sell but the State wouldn't let him. I am able to get milk from him but in very limited supplies and because of this and the distance, it would require freezing the milk. I have heard that goat's milk freezes fine but cow's milk doesn't. Anyone know how Water Buffalo milk would freeze?
I had some good results with frozen raw cows milk, the only difficulty I had was cleanliness with freezing containers and multiple handling.
Just a guess but buffalo should work as well.
