Title: First Brie
Post by: curiouser_alice on November 20, 2017, 03:02:11 AM
My first Brie just started to bloom.  I'm so excited!
Going to wait until tomorrow morning to turn it over.
Pictures in a couple days, I think.  But it won't be ready until after Christmas.

Don't forget to pet it down before turning.  Also do not sit it on anything porous as the PC will grow into it and when you lift it you may pull off the new growth on the bottom.  Here's your first cheese for your first Brie!!  Pictures please!! ;D

Nice! It looks really thick, maybe you will need go age it longer in cooler aging space.
