Title: Using purchased cheese for mold
Post by: curiouser_alice on December 27, 2017, 04:01:32 AM
My Dad loves Maytag blue but is finding it increasingly difficult to get - does anyone have experience with using the cheese as a source of your mold?  Do I just buy some and cut it up and put it in at the appropriate time?

Hey Alice, you might try searching on "slurry". I think you're asking about inoculating with a commercial blue cheese.
