Title: Shipping
Post by: curiouser_alice on March 22, 2018, 09:10:01 PM
If all goes well with my Stilton, I'll want to send half of it to my Dad.  I see where many people here have shipped cheese Priority Mail.  Would anybody want to weigh in on whether that would be my best option?  We are talking no more than a pound of cheese at the most, and it's only going from Virginia to Kentucky.

I was thinking of just putting it in paper, then airtight plastic, then the box.

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

I have mailed cheese across the country , I used cold packs and sent it overnight . It's easier when the weather is cold as then no chance of sitting in a hot truck or warehouse .
