Hello, my name is Martine and I am originally from Antwerp, Belgium. We moved to Namibia when I was 10 years old. I grew up there and continued to live there until 7 years ago, when I moved to France. I try to travel to Belgium as much as possible to see my family.
I have been making cheese and flops since the beginning of March last year. Still have soooo much to learn. This summer I'd still like to learn how to make wine too, but I don't even know where to start on that. :-\
Lurking here as a guest for about a week or two now made me decide to register, because this seems like a really fun and informative forum. So........Ill be seeing you all from time to time. :D
Welcome to the forum Martine. I have receive a world of information from this site and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Welcome!
Welcome Martine
Thank you all. Panamamike, I have already learned so much here, and really enjoy reading everything this forum!
Welcome on board, Martine.
I am close to wine country here and make a little most years. Making wine is easy but making good wine is more difficult. The best place to start is with grapes.
Good luck with both your cheese and wine adventures.
Welcome Martine :)
Welcome Martine.
I've just got back home from the French Belgian border and have brought back some very nice cheeses with me...
Thanks all! Raw Prawn (love the name by the way ;D), I will try to try, to make wine...because we will be pretty busy this summer. Perhaps first get more clued up on wine making this year. I know next to nothing about it.

Weather was damp, but the company, beer, wine and cheese more than made up for it!
