Hey all - I have an 11 inch Romano hoop but no recipe to tell me how much milk i need at the beginning to fill this sucker, can anyone help please. Or is there a calculator to help me work out how much i need. thanks

Typica cheesel yield for most cow and goat milk is around 10℅ or 1lb per gallon. Sheep milk will yield up to 50%.. How tall is your mold?

My 10 inch molds do best with 10-14# curd - so I'm guessing you'll want anywhere from 12-18 gallons milk.
