Hello Everyone,
My name is Jobe and I started making cheese a little under two years ago. I have made all kinds of cheese and tend to stray from recipes regularly to experiment with the cheese making process. For various reasons, I departed from this cheese forum about 7 months ago and have been more active on various Facebook groups since. In about 2 months time I will be starting graduate school in Washington (Neuroscience and Physiology PhD program) and will also begin making cheeses more frequently again.
This forum supported me and encouraged me very much when I first began making cheese and for that I thank you whole heartedly! I suppose I became intoxicated by the mass appeal and instantaneous recognition provided by the Facebook platform and lost sight of my roots here in this forum. Although I am unsure if I will begin being as active as I have been in the past on this forum, I still wanted to reach out to thank you and provide an update on my life for those who care.
My cheese making exploits are going to be video documented from here on out and will be made available on my YouTube channel that I have started up called Jobe's Cheese Lab. I am brand new to making video content and have just last week posted the first half of my first experiment that I am very excited about. If you do want to check it out and support me, here is the link: https://youtu.be/QsCqB2G77do (https://youtu.be/QsCqB2G77do)
Thank you again for all your support!
Best wishes,
Jobe
Welcome back

P.P.S. The "Sort of" applies to the "back" part, not the "welcome" part.
