Title: Is 4-year old packet of Chevre C20G stored in freezer still good?

I've had this packet of Chevre C20G in the freezer for 4 years. Any chance it is still good to use?

Only one way to find out and that is to try it.

A valid reply! So then two related questions:
- does anyone have experience using a packet of chèvre C20G sorted in freezer for several years?
- if I try it and it doesn't work, will the milk be wasted or can I still use it for another cheese attempt? Does anyone have experience with failed cheeses due to old cultures?

I use my frozen starters that are at least 2-3 years old all the time, no issues.
