Title: Perfect Cheese's Control Cube - "all plastic covered" - waterproof?
Post by: ArnaudForestier on February 10, 2019, 09:35:00 PM
Hello all,

Sort of a weird question but I was going to get both my son's feet wet and my feet re-wet with a chevre tonight and I've a couple soup warmers I used to use to make whey starters and yogurt.  I used John's controllers at the time but I can't recall what his immersible probes looked like.  Before shorting out house or us, I thought I'd ask.  I seem to recall one probe that had a small s/s end on it and otherwise, it was just cording.  This was intended for monitoring the refrigerator/cave.   Another, the immersible probe, was all plastic covered with the metal inside, and this probe is bendable - it will hold it's shape.

Is this correct?

Many thanks.

Edit:  Just an FYI, got it figured out.  Thanks all.
