Title: Registration Difficulty
Post by: SlowRain on September 25, 2019, 01:26:25 AM
Hi. There's a guy on Reddit saying he has recently registered on this website but hasn't received his confirmation email yet.  Is there a backlog or glitch with the registration process?

When I registered last year, I waited for an email for several days and it did not come...so I went to re-register and the site said there was someone already registered with my info...and lo and behold, I was able to sign in successfully!  So I'd suggest to the person to try and sign in and see if he's already been approved, without a confirmation email.

That's exactly what happened with me, too.  I told him that, but he/she says it hasn't happened yet.  I don't know how long it has been since he has registered, though.  I told him/her to check back tomorrow.

Ping me at John.Pierce @ Live.com if a problem, lots of spammers trying to post on our forum.

Dear Webmaster,

Yes I have been observing, for the past year or so, all of the spammers you are continually having to deal with...your efforts are most appreciated and deserving of a cheese!  (Probably more like 100 cheeses, but I gave you one, anyway).   :)

Susan
