Hello from the sparse, rural, and currently very frozen interior of Alaska, USA. I'm slightly south east of Fairbanks, and way north of Anchorage. The nearest grocery story is about two hours away, assuming the roads are passable and the weather isn't too bad, which brings me to why I'm here...
I want to make cheese! I'm lucky enough to live close to the only commercial dairy in the state, and I'd very much like to start making cheese to add some much needed stability to our rather fragile food supply chain.
I have a lot to learn, and look forward to picking the brains of folks with a lot more experience than myself.
