Hi all,

I've been a member of the forum for several years. What a great resource!

But I've always had trouble understanding how images are posted. Often I can't get it to work. Also, I've noticed that most of the previously posted images and attachments are no longer accessible.

Any advice about how to upload image/file attachments? How to access previously attached files that show up as "file not found"?

Is there a central README file about this?

I have to host my externally (google photos, I think other forum members are using something like imgur) then create a viewable link. It prevents the site from losing them like a lot of the older stuff has been lost.
