Title: Cheese cave in basement.
Post by: burgy on September 22, 2009, 03:33:07 AM
I would like to build a small room in my basement to use as a cheese cave. The temp stays around 55 degrees year round but not sure what the RH is. My question is if I wax my wheels would a low RH percent be a problem? I plan on storing mostly cheddar and cobly wheels in the room along with a fridge cave for wheels that aren't waxed.

Waxed cheeses are not affected by humidity level.
