I rang to order some from Renco here in NZ, the fellow had no idea what I was talking about because apparently I was mis pronouncing it. He pronounced it as in Lie (lie in bed) and paze. I always thought for some reason it was pronounced leeparzee

Hey I always thought is was pronounced Lip aize. Who knows what language it came from? It would make a difference. Tomaito tomaughto ???

The interesting bit from this post is that I didn't know that RENCO is selling Leepahzee. I get it from Chr. Hansen and their service is pretty darn ^%#$$#&*^%. Sorry I am just a bit mad at them!

Yes found it Peter when I went on the Renco website- they sell in a smaller quantity than CHR thats why I bought it off them- they sell in 500 gram containers.
Thanks everyone for your input, I now know Renco guys don't know how to pronounce the stuff they sell lol but their service is great, they are always so helpful.
