Hi,  While pressing my monteray  Jack, It fell off the counter and onto the floor  :o...It barely touched the kitchen floor, but do you think it's contaminated anyway??

Heavily salt the rind and you should be OK. If you're really paranoid, wash the outside with vodka or stronger ethanol.

Also, if you are REALLY paranoid, the vodka can help with that problem as well. :)
Linuxboy has given you very good advice. I wouldn't worry a lot about it as long as you do as he has suggested.

The 5 second rule is in effect. If Wayne's dog hasn't taken a bite out of it, don't worry.

So, I guess that was a "Jumping" Jack..... Should leave the Mexican beans out next time.

Good one Sailor! Of course if Wayne dog did take a bite you could cut around the teeth marks so it doesn't develop mold in the holes, wash it and age it anyway.
