Wow, Wayne, I'd love to be your milk supplier!
Looking forward to the pictures.
Wayne....
When taking part in a marathon it is important to take in plenty of fluids.
Might I suggest breaking open a few bottles of your '07 vintage during this endeavor?
As always I'm just looking out for your health and well being.

72 gallons - man I am aching just thinking about carrying all that milk up the stairs! AGH!
Have fun! Why do you have to make 3 batches?
I don't have to. I really don't.
But one of the reasons i don't make cheese more often, is that my wife reminds me that I do, in fact, have chores. And I have to say that I do feel just a tad guilty playing with cheesemaking while I hear the vacuum going upstairs.
She is going to her folks house, out of state, for 5 days. That leaves me to do what I please. guilt-free.
So I'm making cheese !
And in the grand scheme of things, given my history, my wife is good with cheesemaking.
Likespace,
Sounds Great!
'O7 is ready, Heck '08 might even make it into the rotation.
Ah I must have misread I thought you HAD to make all that cheese.
Maybe a big Cleveland city Spaghetti dinner in your future?
Step 1. Get milk.
72 Gallons of 2%
WOW! That is one heck of a milk footprint Wayne!
Oh my Wayne :o Now the fun begins.
View looking backwards in the bed of my truck on the way home from the store...
That would be almost $300 worth of milk here! WOW!
Good thing you didn't have a wreck on the way home or the road would have had a milk bath! Looking forward to pictures of your further steps.
Wow, that's wild. I'm just starting out and the two gallon batches are still intimidating :D

I got a decent deal. $1.98/gal
Batch 1 is warming now....
That's a Danged good price! We are uo to $3.25 here for 2%. I wouldn't mind if I thought the farmer were getting the increases but I know they are not.
