Title: San Francheesco
Post by: Majoofi on January 17, 2010, 04:36:21 PM
Hi there folks,
I'm really thrilled to find this great resource. It looks like a real community.

I've been making cheese on and off for two years in San Francisco. I just started up again this month after a long break. But I really love it and want to figure out how to increase production so I don't have to spend a whole day making two pounds of cheese. I'm hoping that if I can get enough positive feedback I might even be able to turn it into a business. (pie in the sky?)

anyway I'll be soon peppering you all with questions.

Welcome Majoofi this is the right place to learn about cheesemaking. The resources and people here are really great.

As far as increasing production all you need is a bigger pot or vat, bigger moulds and more milk! Nothing wrong with dreams that is what life is for. Goals are what keep us going. Good luck!

Hi Majoofi and welcome.

Lots of good people here, I think a Sr couple members said if you want to commercial then you need to perfect a couple of cheeses, rather than trying all different ones like me :-\.

Here's the board for small commercial operations (https://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/board,211.0.html)!

Have fun!
