Title: Hello from East Tennessee
Post by: tnsven on February 11, 2010, 07:58:29 PM
Boy, I wish I knew you all were here earlier! I've been making cheese on and off for about 10 years but only in the last few have I had enough milk with which to really experiment.  So I'm looking to expand my repertoire! You all make such wonderful varieties!

We have a pair of Jerseys that provide much butter, cream, milk, and cheese for our family. I've got the 2nd cow freshening later this month and am looking forward to trying so many of the varieties you all talk about here....and eventually developing some of my own, possible for sale if that is possible here.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all!

Kristin

Hello Kristin and welcome! I know how you feel about finding this place it is rather inspirational. I have been cheesing since the 70's off and on and just found this place this year. What a joy!
