Title: Stainless Steel Cheese Press?
Post by: MiaBella Farm on February 22, 2010, 01:46:42 PM
I am looking for a stainless steel, non-pneumatic cheese press that has more than one stamp.

Anyone know of a good source?

Where did you find the prices?

I was quoted these prices while looking for cheesemaking equipment. They are C. van 't Riet presses, quoted to me by Harold Schuller, the American representative of said company.

One can perhaps get something cheaper by searching out local welders and have them rig up something out of stainless steel. The mechanics are not very complicated, however, stainless steel is expensive.
