Title: New Zealand Cheese School - Cheesemaker for a day hands-on workshop
Post by: vavroom on May 23, 2010, 11:08:49 PM
I was lucky enough to attend a 1 day workshop offered by http://newzealandcheeseschool.co.nz/ (http://newzealandcheeseschool.co.nz/) called "Cheesemaker for a day". This was a hands-on workshop as opposed to demonstration only. We covered brie/camembert, quark, mascarpone, yogurt, ricotta and mozarella. Cost was NZ$160, and included morning & afternoon tea, as well as lunch. Went home with 1 camembert.

They also offer similar workshop focusing on feta and haloumi.

Very much worth it!

I blogged about the day in more details, with photos, on my blog:

Bahi Jammar, Ahlan Wasalam, welcome!

I have not seen the above member for quite a while but I think he has records on his linked blog, John.
