What is the best way to clean cheese cloth. Particularly after making soft cheese.

I soak mine in cold water then scrub it by hand. Then I put it in a lingerie bag and send it through the washing machine with cold water. I use natural soap nuts instead of detergent. Hang dry. On cheesemaking day, I soak it in boiling water until just before I need to use it. I'm not sure if this is the best way, but it's my way... can you hear Sinatra?
