Title: Washington (ne: Ontario) cheesegeek reporting in
Post by: Cheesegeek on September 12, 2010, 06:20:37 PM
:)

Hello all,

Thanks to a new friend who found my little live journal on my 'cultural' journeys (http://garraed.livejournal.com/ (http://garraed.livejournal.com/) ) I am looking forward to connecting with my peeps here:)

Long time cheese enthusiast but relatively new to the making and chemistry of it all - about 6 moths

My real name is Tim, although the journal is called Cheesegeek and that is the handle I grabbed for use here. I live in Washington state on Bainbridge Island and work in Seattle running a regional theatre. Originally from Toronto area, but recruited out here in 2008.

I have to attend a lot of wine and cheese parties for work and am unable to drink (due to an emsyme issue), so I decided that knowing the other side might be fun. I also enjoy cooking for groups and am a history enthusiast, participating in a medieval living history society and experimentation with food and recipes from that period.

Loving the access to the raw milk products in washington:)

Best to all!!

Tim (Cheesegeek)

Tim? Seattle Children's Theatre Tim? Welcome! :)

I raise mini-lamanchas in Redmond and help run our WA cheese guild. This forum is awesome for cheeseheads, you'll love it here :)

Howdy Cheesegeek/Tim, welcome, I grew up in Vancouver and mostly know Whidby Island - Port Townsend & Mt Baker area, now I live in Houston, Texas.

Fun blog, I haven't tried waxing, there's a how to connect it to your signature here (https://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/topic,1371.0.html) if want.

No idea on raw milk, you could ask here (https://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/board,126.0.html), I suspect you'll get some replies.

Have fun!
