This is a great Italian recipe very easy to make:
4 slices cooked ham
4 slices mozzarella cheese
8 slices Holsum bread
4 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs
Extra virgin olive oil
Make sandwiches with 2 slices bread, 1 slice ham, 1 slice mozzarella. Make 4 sandwiches as normal. Dip sandwiches both sides in egg and then coat with breadcrumbs. Heat oil in pan and fry the sandwiches both sides.
This is a great alternative to the usual cheese sandwiches. Enjoy!
