Post by: ashummel on October 10, 2010, 11:40:10 PM
I used a one gallon recipe in a six inch mold. Oops!!! Oh well, its half way to mild maturity and its pretty good. I thought that i would post a picture of some great tasting cheese.

Thank you, by now that Gouda is long gone i couldn't wait the month for maturity.  It was enjoyed thouroughly though.  I just put 4 pounds of Havarti in the cave.  I love Havarti. My new everyday cheese is my Manchego Fresco's they are easy and so delisous. It was a confirmation when i had some body tell me that they hate cheese especially from Spain and i let them blind taste my Manchego. They couldn't stop eating it. That's a great feeling

Always a wonderful feeling when your efforts are rewarded. Havarti with dill is one of my favorite midday snack cheeses.
