Title: Hello from Brisbane, Aust
Post by: spiraleddie on October 11, 2010, 10:51:53 AM
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi and make myself known, I have been enjoying this site for the past three months and I would just like to say I have found it extremely helpful for the novice (first cheese post incoming, check the feta thread if interested :)). I purchased the Ricky Carrol book which is great but i think i could have got by on this site alone.

Welcome! I also use Ricky's book sometimes but I always read several similar recipes before the make because her recipes are not always point-on for temps, rennett, pressing weights... Happy cheese making!

Howdy spiraleddy, welcome, my family and visited Brisbane & Gold Coast for 2 week holiday in ~ 1999, great place, Brisbane reminded me of my home town Vancouver.

Living in Houston now, flat-flat-flat, makes biking easier!

Have fun with your feta!

Morning Spiraleddy, and welcome to the forum.  I am another of the Aussie's here.  Have you visited www.cheeselinks.com.au (http://www.cheeselinks.com.au) ?  I have found their book and service great.
Just made some feta myself.
