Title: Freeze dried Penicilium Roqueforti storing question
Post by: vertlook on October 21, 2010, 03:00:32 AM
Hi,
I am a new member here, just beginning making cheese and loving it (or the rather the results)!
The title pretty much says it all: I got Penicilium Roqueforti here:
http://www.thebeveragepeople.com/product1271.html (http://www.thebeveragepeople.com/product1271.html)
and the package does not specify the storing temperature.
The same applies to Geotricum Candidum.
I been storing both the freezer but my blue does not show any signs of blooming after ~10 days so I am a bit concerned.
I rehidrated them for 5 minutes before using.
Thanks! ;D

Freezer storage is fine, can you detail your make steps to troubleshoot more?

Thank you LinuxBoy,
it finally started showing a little on two (out of 5) of my cheeses.
Hope to post results soon!
