Welcome to the board.
Howdy Brent and welcome to this forum and to hobby cheese making.
I've seen a couple Kiwi's around but no regulars, Tea and Bundy are here quite a bit and the closest to you as in Queensland.
Welcome. Have a chunk of cheese on us. Lot's of new poster here lately, always happens around the new year.
That's good! Spare time around the holiday season, pick up a new hobby, except several of the new joiners have been making cheese for quiet a while. Welcome all.
thanks for the warm reception

Good morning Brent and welcome to the forum. Hope your cheese efforts are a success for you. Let us know how it goes.
Welcome Brent
I too am a newbie to this hobby. A lot to learn and there's a lot of great information on this site. Quite a bit of experienced cheese makers. Good luck.

Ricotta can also be made from the leftover whey from cheese making too you know? That why you get two cheeses for the price of one.
BTW I like you avatar. Nice pic.

Welcome, Brent. I'm pretty new at this too -- but learning alot from all the folks here. Lots of good advice and encouragement. Lots of fun, too.
Brent is that really your cheese cave.
:) Hi! Julie here. I'm from Wanganui - just about to introduce myself too but guess i will do it here. Have made some feta and have my first brie/camembert ripening. Smells terrible but looks divine.
Hello Julie and welcome to the forum, congrats on first cheeses!
I admit it, I had no clue where Wanganui is, found you (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Wanganui&rls=com.microsoft:*:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&client=&rlz=1I7GGLL_en&um=1&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title)! North island in NZ, and google maps has Street View pictures just like here, nice downtown!
Look forward to your Camembert experiences.
Kinda creepy having CH check up on us. Look at google maps now CH, I'm mooning you....LOL

I've been quoted, I feel special.
Originally before I built my wine cellar in my house, I was going to dig up under my deck outside and build an underground room for wine and cheese. I may have to do that now.
