Dear friends, I'm not cheesemaker but moldmaker.
I've got info on absolutely enigmatic tools for making cheese. They are made from PE or PP and they have relatively thick walls with multiple holes. There are very-very lot small holes with diameter about 0.3-0.5 mm, practically it is strainer or filter!
Regretfully I do not have any idea about method of these parts manufacturing. Maybe somebody knows how and/or where these "filters" have been made. It is industrial equipment, indeed.

I believe the first picture is of a mold for pressing Spanish Manchego shaped cheese, first image is outside of the mold, second is inside, and third is closeup of inside. Second picture is of outside of the follower looking at bottom and then inside of follower from top.
Reading here (http://www.cheesefromspain.com/CFS/1505Manchego_I.htm), the shape of Manchego is very characteristic and defined due to:
- The traditional use of esparto grass hoops which imprints a zigzag pattern along the side of the cheese.
- The small wooden boards used for pressing the cheese also imprint the typical wheat ear pattern on the top and bottom of the wheel.

What do you mean? plastics are usually mold injected into any shape\surface texture you want.
