Title: Cheese Newbie from Texas
Post by: beebow on March 27, 2011, 10:30:46 PM
Hello Everyone! My name is Brenda and I live North of Houston in Texas. I am a mother of two and a grandmother to seven. My husband and I have a small place with about 100 chickens, 2 bee hives, a small garden, and I just bought my first dairy goat. I have never made cheese before but I am very excited about the prospect of doing so. In my research I came upon your forum and I thought this would be a great place to learn and make friends. I apologize ahead of time for the many questions I will be asking and thank you for your patience.  ;D

Hi Brenda - welcome to the forum.  I think you'll find, as I have, a slew of very giving and knowledgeable people here.  Enjoy yourself!

100 chickens?  I wish I lived bear you!:)  Our neighbor has 6 and we get eggs once in a while from them but I'd buy them every week if they'd let me!  Sheesh...anyway, welcome to the forum!  And to making to cheese.  I'm a Newbie too but having fun and enjoying the results :)
